On 15 October 2026 Textron Aviation said the FAA had certified Gogo Galileo HDX for the Cessna Citation Longitude and the Cessna Citation Latitude. New Longitude and Latitude jets delivered from 2028 can have the system fitted at no charge. Buyers who take Galileo also get a preferred worldwide service rate, locked for 3 years. Corporate Jet Investor reported the same first-maker claim on 16 October. Flying reported the free fit and the rate deal on 15 October.

Chris Hearne is Textron Aviation's senior vice president of Engineering and Programs. He said the approval "gives customers another factory-supported connectivity option to keep them connected wherever their missions take them."

The kit is a fuselage-mounted HDX antenna. It runs on Eutelsat's OneWeb low-earth-orbit network. Textron says the fit is simpler than many other satellite systems. Gogo chief executive Christopher Moore said a technician can be on the tarmac within 24 hours if needed.

The Longitude is Textron's flagship Citation. It has a published range of 3,500 nm and seats up to 12 passengers. The Latitude has a range of 2,700 nm and seats up to nine. Textron still calls it the company's best-selling midsize jet. Free LEO connectivity on both types from 2028 will sit in the cabin column when a buyer weighs a new midsize jet against one that still bills bandwidth as an extra.

The 3-year preferred rate matters as much as the free hardware. An owner who takes Galileo at delivery locks a known service price for the early years. Charter operators and chiefs of staff who have watched those bills swing will read the guarantee first.

A new Longitude or Latitude order now has factory LEO on the spec sheet. An older fleet will be judged against that 2028 baseline.

Goodall Aviation sources and places ACMI and wet lease capacity. We do not fly aircraft or run a fleet. Factory-supported connectivity on a 2028 midsize delivery will show up in the cabin spec we are asked to match. It will also show up in how soon an operator wants an older jet upgraded.
