AIN reported on 8 September 2026 that Comlux is adding two Bombardier Global 8000s and a Global 6500. Days earlier the Swiss group said a second Global 8000 had joined its managed fleet.
UK CAA clears the Global 8000 into London City
Bombardier announced on 10 September 2026 that the UK Civil Aviation Authority has approved the Global 8000 to land at London City Airport. The field is short, steep and close to the City.
Trump says Bombardier cannot sell jets in the US unless it builds there
On 7 September President Trump said Bombardier should no longer sell aircraft in the United States unless it manufactures there. No executive order, tariff schedule or FAA action has followed that post.
